I turned a piece of reclaimed Douglas Fur lower. Sketched the basic shapes on raw upper and carved them out. Filed, sanded, 3 coats Red Mahogany stain, 1 coat of Polyurethane then added a rubber tip. It’s been a challenge for me to make less detailed pieces. Knowing when to stop one & start the next isn’t easy for me as I always see more to do.
